Spring 2025 new playground equipment for Colby Township Park.
Gazebo at Veterans Park -completed
A new gazebo with electrical access.
New folding chairs for Alto Elementary School - completed
Replacement of school folding chairs for assemblies and school programs.
Alto Library Building -ongoing
The DDA owns, maintains and operates the building. Kent District Library operates the Alto Branch out of this building.
Bancroft Avenue Walkway -in progress
A walkway on Bancroft Avenue between 64th Street and Depot Street will provide a safe way for community members to walk to the school and town, while being able to enjoy the view of two ponds with an abundance of wild life (fish, Blue Herons, Canada Geese, Eagles - just to name a few)l
Alto Elementary School Track - completed
The school track provides exercise to its students and community (when school is not in secession).
Alto Elementary School Parking - completed
Much needed extra parking has allowed the community to participate in school programs and events without having to park along the road and walk a long distance to the school.
